LOVE Talk

"The arrival of love is the beginning of happiness, and the arrival of marriage is the extension of happiness." Director Shen Ke-shang spent seven years recording the conversations of eight couples who had been married for different lengths of time. Coming from different regions and status backgrounds, they asked their partners about topics that their partners did not touch on in their daily lives. Such as the reasons for getting married, the passion that no longer exists, to the boredom about sex and children, and each other, and the simmering problems between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. The clues in the dialogue lead the audience to reflect again on the definition of marriage and happiness.
