This film is based on the personal experiences of a female immigrant and documents the broken marriages of four foreign sisters—Yulan, Jinling, Ashi, and Meili—living in Taiwan. Each woman faces different family situations, ultimately finding themselves on a path of voluntary or involuntary separation. After their divorces, how will they choose the next step in their lives? And what challenges will their children face in terms of life and education after the breakdown of their parents' cross-cultural marriages?
