Dialogue Between Blue & Green
2012・Taiwan・75 minutes
Taiwan's democratic freedoms are generally envied in the Chinese world, but the blue-green debate often casts a shadow on other Chinese people's impression of democracy. While the previous generation was quarreling over ideology, how do the new generation of Taiwanese young people view blue and green? The director gathered these first-time voters in the 2012 presidential election and conducted a long-term dialogue experiment to observe whether they, who have different political party leanings, are willing to "sit down and talk about politics" with people with different ideas. What chemical changes will occur between them?
