This is the director's self-introduction. During university, one of the final assignments for a course was to "create a song based on self-introduction and produce an accompanying music video." This prompted reflection—what kind of song would best introduce myself? What kind of visuals should represent me? In the end, I decided to experiment with a "non-verbal direct narration" approach, allowing sound and imagery to become my sole language of expression. Through this process, I also took the opportunity to sort through different stages of my identity—starting with murmurs, gradually unfolding into the chanting of an ancient Atayal tune, and finally concluding with my grandfather’s prayer. The past, present, and future imaginings intertwine throughout the piece.
