"I will only shoot when the island tells me about it, and I will not start shooting until he tells me that it can be started." Yonaguni, the westernmost island of Japan, is close to Taiwan. There are only a thousand people living on the island. The sound of spring thunder is like a new life, cattle and horses are walking leisurely, and everything seems to have its own rules in the blue sea and sky. Since then, man-made objects have left traces of human life, and buildings driven by desire for development can be seen everywhere. Has anyone ever asked "him", the owner of the island, for his opinion? No narrative, no narration, no music, no dialogue, no characters. Huang Xinyao faithfully presents the purest and natural image language on the island, and it seems that all the meaning of existence can be found in the poetic pictures.
