The cat never came back during the rainy night. There was a rumor on the Internet that if you pointed the scissors at the door of your house and called the cat's name in your heart, the mysterious power would lead the cat home. Half a world away, I silently recited the cat's name, but my memory led me across the River Styx, digging into the memories deep in my mind.
