The stray dogs that enter the Taipei Stray Animal Home have no names, only a set of numbers that follow them until the day they leave the shelter. They cannot predict when or how they will leave the shelter. Maybe return to the human world, or maybe go to heaven... This film is from the perspective of stray dogs, with Lei Guangxia as the narration narrating their life course. Where do stray animals come from? Caused by the massive abandonment and continuous reproduction of humans. Although the zero-euthanasia policy now saves stray animals from death, treating all creatures kindly may be a lesson that humans need to learn permanently.
