In Our Time

This film is the pioneering work of Taiwan's new film movement and is composed of four short films: "Little Dragon Head", "Counting on", "Leap Frog" and "Sign Up". Tao Dechen, Yang Dechang, Ke Yizheng, and Zhang Yi, four emerging directors at the time, narrated the life moments of the four protagonists from the perspectives of different ages and times. Whether it is an introverted boy who feels joy because he has made friends but also feels the bitterness of parting, or a young couple who is helpless and exhausted in the face of a panic morning, they all have their own joys and sorrows. Only by going through each stage can we truly appreciate the ups and downs of each time story.
