Missing

A girl searches for her father who left home, and discovers that a young man who looks like a serial killer has taken his father's name. She decides to get traces of her father from this man. The film successfully captures the intimate atmosphere of life between father and daughter, and also hides social criticism in the sudden change of tone and violent violence. The powerful actor Jiro Sato changed his comedic image and delicately interpreted the complicated and tangled state of mind of his father; the new generation actor Shimizu Hiroyuki gave a seemingly harmless but cold-blooded and cruel performance that made people shudder.
