With the Communist Party of Malaysia fighting for independence as the historical background, a Malaysian boy named Yifan came to Taiwan to study. His grandparents had participated in guerrilla warfare. The sorrow of the times brought his relationship with his father to a freezing point. While pursuing his own identity, he met a man who came to Taiwan to work. Lila, a Filipino girl, but the love that burst out between them made him even more distressed. The whole film is like a melting pot of cultures, with actors from three places and six voices, Malay, English, Vietnamese, Chinese, Taiwanese and Filipino.
