Loving Vincent

No other artist has as many dramatic legends as Van Gogh. He has been described as a martyr, a womanizer, a douchebag, a lunatic and a genius. This film uses 800 letters, 860 oil paintings, 1,026 sketches and 20 people in his life that he exchanged with relatives and friends, and hired 100 animators to imitate the brush strokes one by one to connect his works into one. An animation that tells the story of a man's life, leading the audience to deeply explore Van Gogh's spiritual world.
