The Moving Tent

Temporary tents were set up in the open-air square, and the audience came in to listen to the faint sounds in the social gap; the unique aesthetics and energy collectively constructed by the members of the tent drama boiled up the intersection of ideas on and off the stage. Art is moving, and it is also a never-ending battle against alienation. In his dual capacity as observer and participant, the director recorded the development of the "Taiwan Haibizi" tent operation in Taiwan from 2004 to 2016, asking both internally and externally what strategies of resistance we still have in the capital society.
