Taiwanese American restaurant co-owner Chris Yu returns to Taiwan to seek menu inspiration for Yumpling, his restaurant in Queens, New York. The program features several Taiwanese classic dishes, including gua bao, beef noodle soup, banquet (outdoor communal feasts), and bubble tea. Chris consults with various Taiwanese culinary masters, hoping to discover an endless stream of delicious inspiration to bring back to New York.
