The Philippines has more than 2.2 million overseas workers (OFW) around the world. In addition to providing economic support to their hometown, they also promote Philippine culture to all over the world, especially the beauty pageants that Filipinos are proud of. Beauty pageants are held almost every month for Filipino migrant workers in Taiwan. On weekdays, they are pale screws on the factory production line, but when they come to the holiday beauty pageant, they return to their true self and bravely be themselves. In one male beauty pageant after another, the contestants showed various faces of working people, including sadness and sweetness.
