"Towards the Completion of a Poem" begins with Yang Mu's recitation and explores a huge literary life. The hesitant boy in Hualien Middle School, the figure of Dadu mountain debating and studying, the persistence and curiosity in reading Old English in Iowa, the writing attempts in the multi-cultural world of Europe, America, China and Taiwan, and the care and persistence in phonology and imagination. Yang Mu's poems always deeply touch people's hearts.
