Night and Fog (Digital Restoration)
1955・France・33 minutes
After the war, in 1955, director Aaron. Resnais took his camera back to the Nazi concentration camp in Auschwitz. The concentration camp is empty, and the cold images and calm narration cannot conceal the sad accusations and reflections on human atrocities. The director used images taken at that time interspersed with historical scenes from the war to poetically and powerfully describe the tragic past of the Nazi Holocaust. This film can be called the most representative documentary on the Nazi Holocaust in history.
