George: The Story of George Maciunas and Fluxus

2018・United States・128 minutes

8 requests
George Maciunas founded "Fluxus" in the 1960s. He advocated that Fluxus must be simple and easy to implement, but it was by no means "anti-art", but opposed to artificiality and high culture, so that art could be accessible to everyone. Serve. To this day, Fluxus remains difficult to define. This is an art movement and a genre that breaks the boundaries of music, visuals and other arts. This film compiles a large number of pictures, texts and Fluxus works, as well as interviews with George's friends and Fluxus associates, including Jonas Mekas, Yoko Ono and others, leading the audience to get closer to this visionary revolutionary artist.
