Body of Truth

Four female artists, Marina born in Yugoslavia, Sherrun from Iran, Siglet from Israel, and Katarina from Germany, have each experienced war, violence and oppression. They use the most intimate medium - their own bodies - to transform their life experiences into works of art. From Syrian refugees, conflicts in the Middle East, to Islamic terrorism; from Nazi fascism to right-wing populism, how do they free their bodies from individual senses and transform them into political metaphors and fields?
