The Gwangju Incident in 1980 was the most brutal protest in the history of South Korea's democratic movement; but in 2015, a former military official accused someone in the video of the scene was actually a spy sent by North Korea to incite. It caused an uproar, and the angry victims even planned to file a complaint. However, no one could testify who the "golden king" in the photo was. The director traced the people who participated in the incident, like a detective, and gradually got closer to Jin Jun's true identity. At the same time, he also filled the gaps in the memory of the Gwangju incident with the warmest flesh and blood.
