Nomad: In the Footsteps of Bruce Chatwin
2019・United Kingdom・86 minutes
Bruce Chatwin, the legendary British writer and adventurer, devoted his life to the pursuit and exploration of nomadic culture. He passed away in 1989. At the end of his life, he gave Herso the backpack that had accompanied him on his journey of thousands of miles. Thirty years later, Herzog carried it on his back and followed in Chatwin's footsteps. From the wilderness scenery of Patagonia in South America to the lost tribal legends, nomads and cultural chants, he felt their common understanding of nomadic life along the way. The waves of enthusiasm bring inspiration. Master Horso's most affectionate work in recent years, the collision of two souls across life, through sincere insights, expresses love between heaven, earth and wilderness.
