The Rocking Sky

When the Second Sino-Japanese War broke out in 1937, waves of young pilots took to the skies to meet the enemy, often never to return. How do the people they love and the people who love them face these separations of life and death? This film uses historical images and photo archives to outline the eight-year war of resistance and the international situation of the Republic of China. It takes the audience to witness the pilots' aerial battles and the emotional relationships between them and their relatives and friends, in order to pay tribute to the first generation of young people in the Republic of China.
