The Women's Revenge

In the 1980s, on the eve of the lifting of martial law in Taiwan, a series of "female revenge" movies appeared, depicting female characters who were persecuted and tortured, and ended with extremely cruel revenge endings. Continuing his focus on body political issues in recent years, Su Huiyu once again explores power with the body, and uses women's movies as the basis of imagination to recreate a parallel universe of female revenge.
