A Lifetime in Chinese Literature

"Writing an article is actually talking to yourself." Lin Wenyue, a writer with a family background, is known as "the most beautiful person in National Taiwan University". She is a campus legend and a master of prose and translation. This film follows Lin Wenyue's prose creation, looking back on his childhood during the great changes and migrations during the war, and then showing his achievements and perseverance in translating the masterpiece "The Tale of Genji" which took five and a half years. Her works are rich and diverse, depicting special human sentiments and telling deep and intense memories, thereby opening up a literary experience that combines color, fragrance, and flavor.
