At the beginning of the 21st century, Taiwanese films were at their lowest point, with less than ten films released annually. Unexpectedly, the 2008 film "Cape No. 7" hit the highest point in Taiwanese film history. This film interviews 30 filmmakers including Hou Hsiao-hsien, Tsai Ming-liang, Wei Te-sheng, Chi Po-lin, Niu Chen-zer, Lim Giong, Sylvia Chang, etc., telling the bitterness and courage before and behind the scenes, and also leaving a testimony to Taiwan's contemporary film. In this turbulent era, what kind of beliefs do Taiwanese filmmakers rely on to establish themselves in the world?
